How do I upload files to a folder?

From within the project, click "Files".  In the file management area, select the folder you would like to upload files to. Click the "Upload" button at the top of the log. Browse to and select the files to be uploaded and then click "Open". The upload process will start automatically. Alternatively, drag and drop the files directly from the file location on your computer to the "Drag and drop" window. The file upload process with start automatically.

Users can also upload files to a folder from the properties form of the folder. Once the folder properties have been selected, scroll down to the "In this folder" section of the form. Click the "Upload" button. Browse to and select the files to be uploaded and then click "Open".  The upload process will start automatically. Alternatively, drag and drop your files directly from the file location on your computer to the "Drag and drop" window. The file upload process with start automatically.

How do I share files?

From within the project, click "Files".  In the file management area, click the drop down arrow next to the file you would like to share and then click the "Share" button. At the "Share this Document" prompt, select the appropriate user(s) and/or group(s) you would like to share the files with. 

Users may also share files from within the properties form. Click the drop down arrow next to the file you would like to share and then click "Properties". Click the "Share" button on the top of the file properties form and select the appropriate user(s) and/or group(s).

Note that when sharing a folder that any child files and subfolders will also be shared in the process.

Who has viewed/

How can I see who's viewed or downloaded my file?

From within the project, click "Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click ".  In the file management area, click the drop down arrow next to the File file name and then click "Properties". In the Version History version history section, click the drop down next to the version number . The to expand the "view/downloaded" history will be listed. Click the drop down again to collapse this informationthe "view/downloaded" history.

How can I see who has access to a file?

From within the project, click "Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click ".  In the file management area, click the drop down arrow next to the File file name and then click "Properties". Navigate to the Activity activity and Access access section and click then select the Access access tab. Group User and User group access will be listed.

How do I halt a file?

From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down arrow next to the file you would like to halt and click Properties. On the right hand panel click the Access tab. Click the drop down next to the Group or User you would like to halt access to and click Halt.

Note that when halting a group and any user(s) within that group will also be halted. Also if a folder is halted and child folder and/or files will be halted as well.

How do I unhalt a file?

From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down arrow next to the file you would like to unhalt and click Properties. On the right hand panel click the Access tab. Click the drop down next to the Group or User you would like to unhalt access to and click Unhalt.

How do I obsolete a file?

From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down arrow next to the File name and click Properties. Click the "..." button and click Mark as obsolete. The Obsolete? window will populate to confirm the selection click Yes. The form view of the file will now show that the file has been obsoleted.

How do I unmark a file that has been obsoleted?

From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down arrow next to the obsoleted File name and click Properties. Click the "..." button and click Unmark as obsolete. The form view of the file will now show that the file has been unmarked as obsolete.

How do I view halted files?

From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down next to the Project Files click View Halted Files.

How do I view obsoleted files?

 From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down next to the Project Files click View Obsoleted Files.

How do I view the as of date/time of a file?

From within the project, click Files. This will bring you to the File Management area from within your project. Click the drop down arrow next to the File name and click Properties. Click the "..." button and click View as of date/time. Select the date and time you would like in the "View as of..." window. The form view of the file will now show the as of date/time of the file.
