Creating a Directive
To create a directive:
- Once logged into the project, from the project secondary navigation bar, select CHANGE ORDERS - DIRECTIVES and select 'Add New'.
- Note that forms displayed on the project title bar are configurable. If you do not see CHANGE ORDERS - DIRECTIVES, select 'More' - 'Configure My Menu'. Add the CHANGE ORDERS form to your secondary navigation menu. See the screen shot below. DIRECTIVES are part of the CHANGE ORDERS menu and should be displayed once the CHANGE ORDERS - form has been added to your secondary navigation menu.
- Enter the Subject. Subject is a required field and must be completed in order to save the directive.
- Enter the Directive Number. Directive Number is a required field and must be completed in order to save the directive.
- Date - Enter the date of the directive
- Type - Select the Directive Type. This field can be left blank.

- Scope - In the Scope field, enter the details surrounding the directive.
- Save the Directive
Editing a Directive
To edit a directive, click the 'Edit' button from either the Directive form or from the Directive log view. Edit as desired and click 'Save' to save changes.
Viewing a Directive
Directives can either be viewed in form view or the log view. To view directives in log view, ensure that you have configured your secondary navigation menu to display the CHANGE ORDERS form. See the screen shot below. Clicking 'CHANGE ORDERS' on the secondary navigation menu will display a dropdown selection where DIRECTIVES is displayed as an option.
Linking a Contract Exhibit to a Contract
Contract exhibits can be linked to a contract. After creating a contract exhibit, link it to a contract by using the 'Other Exhibits' tab on the contract. In edit mode on the contract click the 'Add Other Exhibits' button. Select the contract exhibit to be linked and complete the process by clicking the 'Add Other Exhibits' button. Save the contract.
