Default forms that are available when opening a new project for the first time

There are 17 form types available on a new project. The default forms are:

  • Change Orders
  • Contract Exhibits
  • Contracts
  • Directives
  • Drawing Packages
  • Drawings
  • Emails
  • Field Reports
  • Merge Documents
  • Merge Templates
  • Potential Change Orders
  • Payment Applications
  • Punch Lists
  • Request for Information
  • Specification Packages
  • Specifications
  • Submittal Packages
  • Submittals

Besides the default forms, users may create any custom forms for use in a project. These forms can be for the user's own information or shared with the project and other connected companies. For more information on how to create custom forms please reference building custom forms.

What determines the default form types?

Projectteam.com is a project management solution geared toward the architectural, engineering, and construction industry. Our system is based on connecting, sharing, and collaborating. The default form types are the industry's most commonly used forms on projects across all companies.

Navigating to the default forms

From within the project, the default forms will be listed on the forms title bar directly under the project name. Select the form you would like to enter into (e.g. Submittals, Drawings). Additionally, other form types will be listed below the forms title bar under "All Project Form Types".

Configuring which form types are displayed on the forms title bar

From within the project, the default forms will be listed on the title bar directly under the project name. The list of forms shown on the forms title bar is configurable by clicking on the "Configure My Menu" button. Select which form types should be displayed on the forms title bar and click "OK".
