Form Logs

Form Logs are list views of all form documents you have access to. To access the logs after logging into your project, select "View Project Form Types" from the project homepage. Then select the relevant form to display a list of all form documents related to that form. Form Logs can also be accessed by selecting that form type from the Secondary Navigation bar located on the top of the page.

Configuring the log view

After entering the log view as described under "Form Logs", click the "..." dropdown selecting "Configure Log". In the configuration pane, select which field you wish to be displayed as field headers in the log view.

View Shared With

One of the options provided in the log view is 'View Shared With'. This option provides a log view of all documents shared to a selected user. To view all documents for the form type, from the log view, click '...View Shared With'. In the 'View Shared With' modal, place your cursor in the 'Choose User' box and then click 'View'. All documents will be listed showing an indicator (Yes, No) in the 'Shared' column indicating whether the selected user is shared that document or not. The 'Choose User' box is also a type-ahead box that can filter the user list by the type-ahead entry.

Searching the Log

Search - Just above each field is a search bar that allows users to enter specific criterion for filtering the log view. Upon entering your criterion, the log will automatically be filtered based on your entry.  Search capabilities are not limited to a single field search. Search criteria can be entered into multiple fields to narrow your result set even further. For example; a client who runs a clothing store has many entries in the clothing log but only wants to see men's suit coats that are blue. Because this user created a custom form that contains fields 'Gender', 'Clothing Type', and 'Color', she can now filter the clothing log by entering the proper criteria in each field further narrowing her result set as desired.

Sticky Search - To alleviate having to enter search criteria each time the log is visited, the search criteria entered from the previous search will remain in the search box until changed or refreshed. Upon page refresh or logout/logon, the search box will be reset to blank.  

Printing a log of all form documents from the log view

 From the log view, click the "Print" button. A Printable page will be displayed allowing a hard copy to be printed
